Occupational Therapy Month began in 1980. The event takes place each year in April to correspond with the American Occupational Therapy Association’s annual conference. Occupational Therapy Month helps to raise awareness about the distinctive roles occupational therapists play in helping injured or disabled people live fuller lives.
