Meet our physical therapist, Dr. Shivangi Modi, DPT. Although she was born and raised in New Jersey, she left the garden state for 6 years to complete her Doctorate in physical therapy from Columbia University. She began her studies at the College of New Jersey, obtaining a bachelor's in science degree, before heading to Columbia. Shivangi has completed training in treating a variety of medical conditions working at New York Presbyterian Columbia hospital for 5 years, including Stroke rehab, orthopedic surgical recovery, cardiopulmonary rehab, and neurological conditions. She is back in NJ and working with us at Comprehensive Medical Care, where she is working on adding a specialization in vestibular rehab,  vertigo and balance disorders to her current toolbox. With more than 8 years’ experience treating patients, she is ready to treat any musculoskeletal problems, patients come to her with. In her free time, she has a passion for playing tennis, Bollywood dancing, hiking, and biking. Her favorite season is fall, so you could find her outdoors with her husband and puppy!
