(8 – 11 year olds)
It is important to work with athletes on their mechanics from a young age to ensure proper movement patterns are achieved. Between the ages of 8 and 11, athletes should be working to develop their stability, coordination, speed, and agility. Our Rookie program is a 1 day a week program designed to start athletes on the path to incorporating Performance Training into their weekly regiments.
(13-15 year olds)
After our athletes can move properly and understand how to perform basic athletic movements, they progress into learning some of the core movements involved in high school strength programs. We work to teach our athletes techniques that can help them make better choices and perform better while on the field but also in the weight room. Our Prospects program focuses on teaching athletes how to perfect their lifting form while continuing to educate and implement concepts from speed, agility, coordination, and stability.
(11 – 13 year olds)
Once the basics of movement and stabilization are accomplished, athletes can begin to strengthen their muscles and surrounding tissue. In our Futures program, we focus on implementing functional strength exercises utilizing body weight, medicine balls, and bands, while continue to teach and maintain balance, coordination, speed, and agility. This program meets twice a week.
(15 + year olds)
Athletes who have proven the ability to perform movements properly with minimal correction can test into our Elites program. This program emphasizes exercises, lifts, and drills that help athletes develop their strength, power, and speed. Athletes who progress through our Elites program will have better exposure to the demands placed on college-bound athletes. Our Elites program meets twice a week as to not overload athletes who may still be in season, participating in off-season conditioning with their teams, or are multi-sport athletes.
