Established multidisciplinary medical practice has an immediate opening for a Revenue Cycle Manager with strong experience working in a pain medicine, rehabilitation, and/or chiropractic environment. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations on all issues relating to the revenue-cycle. job responsibilities, including but not limited to reviewing collection reports to identify payer and other collection issues, develop and implement practice specific process improvement recommendations to secure positive results, monitor performance and improvements for favorable trends, to maintain reimbursement related key performance indicators for network practices, setting and benchmarking revenue cycle goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Develop and implement practice specific process improvement recommendations to secure positive results, monitor performance and improvements for favorable trends.

  2. Monitor and increase reimbursements within practice.

  3. Enhance and standardize work-flow processes throughout the revenue cycle to assist in achieving consistency in maintaining cash flow.

  4. Format and run impromptu reports as requested. Run Aged Trial Balances for collection focus. Run month end and provider service for management.

  5. Develop strategic plans and programs for business office team.

  6. Acting Remit Data and Payer Path Administrator.

  7. Coordinate cases with ALL Scripts and Payer Path Technical Support to trouble-shoot or enlist direction.

  8. Provide oversight and training to individuals concerning new procedures enacted to improve the revenue cycle.

  9. Help in reducing costs with the business unit.

  10. Update all posting (batches), file transaction journals, review and enter cash and voucher voids.

  11. Super User, including security access maintenance.

  12. Oversee credentialing process for all providers with Medicare.

    Job Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of business management and accounting principles to direct the revenue cycle.

  2. Sufficient knowledge of policies and procedures to accurately answer questions from internal and external customers.

  3. Broad-based knowledge of relevant insurance regulations and with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

  4. Knowledge of EMR Systems preferably All Scripts, Microsoft Office.

    Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as a revenue cycle manager within the health care industry, preferably in a pain medicine, rehabilitation, chiropractic environment.

    Education: Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business or finance.
